This Privacy Policy describes how WIXFULL ("we", "us") processes personal data when you use the Type Translate browser extension and our backend API at https://typo-translator-production.up.railway.app.

1. Data controller

WIXFULL is the data controller for the services described here. For privacy requests, contact studio@wixfull.com.

2. What we collect and why

• Text you submit for translation — sent to our API and forwarded to Microsoft Azure Translator to produce a translation. We do not permanently store full translation text; it is processed in transit for the request and associated usage accounting.
• Email address — only if you sign in via magic link. We send a one-time 6-digit code to verify your email. We do not collect or store passwords.
• Install ID — a random identifier generated by the extension to track trial usage and link your subscription to your browser install.
• Device ID — a SHA-256 hash derived from non-sensitive device signals (CPU model, RAM, display resolution, user agent) to enforce fair trial limits and prevent abuse. We do not store raw hardware identifiers.
• Usage counters — number of characters translated, plan status, and billing period usage for quota enforcement.
• Payment metadata — order reference, plan, amount, and payment status via WayForPay. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
• Server logs — standard request metadata (IP address, timestamps, error logs) as provided by our hosting provider (Railway).

3. What we do not collect

• Passwords for third-party websites
• Your full browsing history
• Full page contents — only text you explicitly type or select for translation

4. Per-site activation

The extension runs only on websites you explicitly enable in the extension popup. We do not access pages on sites you have not turned on.

5. Legal bases (where applicable)

• Contract — providing translation, account, and subscription services you request.
• Legitimate interests — fraud prevention, abuse detection, service security, and aggregated usage analytics.
• Consent — where required for optional communications or jurisdiction-specific requirements.

6. Subprocessors

• Microsoft Azure Translator — machine translation processing
• WayForPay — payment processing
• Email delivery — transactional login codes (via Wix HTTP endpoint to Zoho mail infrastructure)
• Railway — application hosting

7. Retention

We retain account and billing records as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. Translation text is not kept as a permanent history. You may request deletion of account-related data by emailing studio@wixfull.com.

8. International transfers

Data may be processed in the European Union and other regions where our subprocessors operate, with appropriate safeguards where required by law.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact us at studio@wixfull.com.

10. Children

Type Translate is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
